Last year Valwood was awarded a $5000 grant from The Fender Music Foundation to cover the purchase of 8 new instruments.
We have already received 4 acoustic guitars, while an electric bass and two electric guitars are on the way!
Mrs. Paoletti has begun using the acoustic guitars in the 7th and 8th grade music class, and the students spent last week learning chords and playing songs.
