Athletic Hall of Fame

The 2022 Athletic Hall of Fame nominations are now closed.

The purpose of the Valwood Athletic Hall of Fame is to recognize the outstanding achievements and contributions of individual athletes, teams and/or supporters who represent excellence in sportsmanship, leadership, courage and teamwork.

The Valwood Athletic Hall of Fame is housed in the Jimmy Rainwater Lobby of the Eager Sports Center. The inductees’ names are inscribed on plaques located on the wall display.

Inaugural class inducted March 10, 2018:

Robin Carter Coleman ’77 – Athlete

Maurey Copeland ’87 – Athlete

Roy Copeland ’01 – Athlete

Bill Eager* – Coach and supporter

Paul King ’80 – Athlete
