Valwood Named Gold Member of the AP School Honor Roll

HAHIRA, GA – January 13,2026 — Valwood Upper School is proud to be recognized as a Gold Member of the AP School Honor Roll. This distinction honors schools that have excelled in welcoming more students into AP courses and supporting them on the path to college success.

This distinction reflects Valwood’s continued commitment to academic excellence and expanded access to rigorous coursework: 76% of seniors took at least one AP Exam during high school (Gold), 68% of seniors earned a score of 3 or higher on an AP Exam(Platinum), and 41% of seniors took five or more AP Exams in high school(Platinum). To qualify for the 2025 AP School Honor Roll, schools must meet or exceed the criteria for a given recognition level for all three metrics.

We are especially proud to celebrate our 35 AP Scholars, including 13 AP Scholars with Distinction and 2AP Scholars with Honor. We commend our students and teachers for their hard work and dedication that made this achievement possible.
