Valwood Annual Fund
We are fortunate to have widespread support for the school’s top giving priority, the Valwood Annual Fund, which benefits every student, in every classroom, every day. It is fundamental to the school’s operating budget and remains the reason we are so deeply appreciative of broad participation from our entire school community: parents, alumni, faculty and staff, parents of alumni, grandparents, and friends of Valwood.
The Annual Fund allows the Valwood community of all financial circumstances the ability to support the life of the school. This is a common practice for most independent schools throughout the country.

As the worlds of education and work continue to change, Valwood remains committed to equipping students with the tools they need to thrive. The school continually explores ways technology can deepen engagement, inspire creativity, and strengthen accountability. When innovation is purposefully connected to learning, students gain the confidence and agency to explore, create, and grow. Through this year’s annual fund, Valwood will support strategic technology initiatives that enhance the student experience while advancing the school's mission and vision for the future.

What is the Annual Fund?
Every independent school depends on its annual fund to support a portion of the yearly budget. This fund can benefit different projects every year and remains the cornerstone of giving at our school. Tuition covers only a part of the operations budget, so your annual gift makes an enormous impact! We encourage one gift by each family every year specifically to the annual fund.
