History was made when the Valwood tennis team competed at the GISA individuals state meet on Monday and Tuesday in Macon.
The doubles team of Camille Singletary and Smith Shaw finished first in the state, becoming the first 3A doubles state champions in Valwood history.
Aside from the historic duo, Valiants Hope Hathcock, Georgia Booth, Madison Highsmith, Anna Alvarado, Rebecca Moody, Karsten Smith, Howell Burns, George Tidmore, Will Lester, Caleb Vandemark, Dylan Loung and Grayson Spell each competed in the state meet.
Valwood will compete in the team state meet on Tuesday.
