Very big congratulations to Joe Cochran, Mary Claire Griner, Lilly Respess, and George Tidmore for being honored by the Duke TIPS program for exceptional scores on the ACT or SAT!
These 4 students scored in the 95 percentile on grade-level standardized test, and were invited to participate in “above-level” testing. Well, they scored equal or better than the 50th national percentile rank for college-bound seniors taking the test. THAT IS THEY ACHIEVED COLLEGE ELIGIBLE SCORES AS 7th GRADERS!!!
Two even had scores in English/Reading above the 70th percentile!
They have each been invited to an awards ceremony in the state to receive their certificate.
