Recipients of the Georgia Power Good Citizenship Awards for the fourth quarter were announced on March 24 at Valwood’s Lower School Friday Flag program. Ms. Lark Joyner of Georgia Power presented the awards to the students who were chosen by their teachers. The awards are given to students exhibiting character traits such as honesty, integrity, empathy for fellow students and respect for teachers and one another.
Recipients are:
1st Grade – Hobby Houston, Audrey Castelberry
2nd Grade – Carolyn Griner, Taylorlyn Wilkins, Elle Wilburn, Gianna Kenzel
3rd Grade – Louden Castor, Campbell Shaw, Nicholas Alvarado, Davis Tyrone
4th Grade – Mills Moorman, Murphy Johnson, Hannah Ward, River Pena
5th Grade – Alex Gee, Berkley Burns, Ben Tyrone, Audrey Douglas, Gracie Carver
