Daniel Schert

Daniel Schert is currently an attorney with the Valdosta-based law firm Langdale Vallotton.  After graduating from Valwood in 1994, Schert attended the University of Georgia for his undergraduate and law degrees, earning Cum Laude in both.  A three-year stint at Troutman Sanders, LLP in Atlanta, Georgia, preceded his move back to Valdosta in 2004, where he has become not only a successful lawyer but also an important member of the community.  Schert is a prior chairman of the board for L.A.M.P, a non-profit organization that helps Valdosta’s homeless, and is currently on the board at Valwood.

Daniel, who is married to Heather and has two children, Evan, a current Valwood student, and Eason, credits Valwood with giving him a solid foundation for his success.  “Valwood provided me with both the opportunity and expectation of involvement in numerous athletic, academic and cultural endeavors. The breadth of participation and exposure I experienced at Valwood prepared me for the academic and professional success and enriched me personally.”
