Valwood Hosts Emmy Award Winning Artist

 Three time Emmy Award-winning story teller, Bobby Norfolk performed recently at Valwood School. Students from grades 3-12 attended Mr. Norfolk's performance of Inside the Lewis and Clark Expedition, an exploration of the great adventure through the eyes of the slave York. Mr. Norfolk combines comedy and drama to weave into each of his tales principles that teach valuable lessons. Delighting audiences since 1975, Mr. Norfolk's resume includes three Emmy Awards as host for the CBS television series "Gator Tales" and the Emmy Award nominated cable series "Children's Theater at Bobby's House". Mr. Norfolk's performance at Valwood was made possible by the Character Through the Arts grant, a program providing funding for teaching artists who teach character through their craft.
