The Plant a Tree for Valwood campaign has been completed thanks to our generous donors. Last spring trees were planted along the buffer between the Lower School and the adjoining neighborhood, and on the Lower School playground.  Last month, the project was completed.  Under the direction of Trustee, Sally Querin and Plant Manager, Clint Smith and with the help of Ernest McDonald and Jim Megow and Hahira Nursery more than 65 trees were planted in a period of three days. There are now nine more large live oak trees and some magnolias, crepe myrtles, ligustrum, pin oaks, willow oaks and river birches. Valwood is grateful to all the families and friends who made this beautification of our campus possible.
