Black History Month Celebrated
March 23, 2004
 Mrs. Kelly's Third graders celebrated Black History Month in February with Mrs. Yvette Waters and Mrs. Ruth Council. The ladies dressed in traditional African dashiki and shared information about outstanding black Americans whom the students had been researching. The program included traditional slave songs, and books published by black authors. Mrs. Waters shared the principles of Kwanzaa and set the traditional Kwanzaa table.
