Jessica Marquart has been selected to represent Valwood School at the Governor's Honors program this summer. Jessica, a rising senior, will spend six weeks on the Valdosta State University campus majoring in mathematics and minoring in design. One student from each high school in Georgia is nominated.  Transcripts, nominations from teachers and interviews determine the nominee's eligibility for the program.  Marquardt said,"I am excited about meeting new people and studying on a college campus." She will be joined by 600 high school juniors and seniors from all over the state.
