"Hang a shining star upon the highest bough."  The familiar words of lyricist Ralph Blane come to mind each year as the Holiday Musical is opened with seniors and  pre- kindergarten students trimming the tree in Eager Sports Center.  The cherished tradition began 12 years ago and demonstrates the strong relationship among the students of all ages at Valwood.  It also serves as a snapshot of the 14 year journey many of the Valwood students complete as they prepare for graduation and college.  The little members of class of 2025 were escorted to the tree and assisted by the class of 2012.  Senior Matthew Barnes and PK student Becca Lowe are pictured here adding an ornament.
