Valwood athletes volunteered their time for the Salvation Army this holiday season.  In addition to demanding practice schedules and studying for semester exams, these athletes set aside time to contribute to a beloved holiday tradition. In keeping with Valwood's emphasis on service to others, over twenty athletes manned the traditional red kettles and rang the bell at various locations around Valdosta.  The Salvation Army aids needy families, seniors, and the homeless with the millions of dollars donated each year.
