Valwood Headmaster, Dr. Darren Pascavage, announced this week that 70% of the fifth grade class qualified for the Duke University Talent Identification Program (TIP).  These students scored in the 95th or better percentile of a nationally-normed achievement test. The following Valwood fifth graders qualified for this prestigious honor: Austin Akins, William Browning, Emma Campbell, Emily Clifton, Madelyn Clyatt, Caroline Evans, Marc Davidson Evans, Robbie Evans, Bailey Everett, A. Jacks Green, Mei Hornkohl, Noah Hunt, William Langdale, Nicole Manwell, Annie Medosch ,William Megow, Kasey McQuitty, Gabrielle Moss, Will Parrish, Ashka Patel, Tally Petermann, Sarah Sable, Bo Schramm, Caleb Vandemark, Isabella White, and Emily Ann Wolfson.
