Sarah McTier FCA Region Athlete of the Year

Valwood Senior Sarah McTier has been selected as the regional Fellowship of Christian Athletes "Student-Athlete of the Year." and was honored at the FCA Banquet Thursday night and the Rainwater Center. Sarah also recieved the 2009 School Winner for the prestigious Wendy's High School Heisman Award. Sarah is a member of the Varsity Tennis team coached by Upper School Dean Chuck Glassmire and is a cheerleader. Vallye Blanton is the cheerleading sponsor at Valwood. Her other activities include the First United Methodist Youth Group and Choir, Interact Club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Valwood Student Council, Sigma Delta Theta, First State Bank Student Advisory Board and dancing. Congratulations Sarah!!!!
