Valwood School held their D.A.R.E. graduation today. 35 students learned about the dangers of drug and alcohol abuse as Officer Findlay conducted this annual course of study with the 5th graders. Each of the students spent time not only learning about the dangers of such abuse but also learning how to make good choices, promoting a healthy, positive lifestyle. Congratulations to Savannah-Jane Gilchrist for writing the winning essay, Elizabeth Cribbs for writing the 2nd place essay and Timothy Brady for writing the winning Pledge. Valwood School wishes to thank Officer Findlay and the Valdosta Police Department for all the time and energy put into programs such as these and for all they do for our students.
